This course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s
web-based solution. Participants will receive
an overview of project management concepts, assign
resources, view and approve timesheets, adjust
the project plan to account for schedule delays
and over allocated resources, and analyze portfolios.
Participants also will customize the Personal
Workspace - their "homepage" - and use
the Project Workspace to collaborate with team
members, manage documents, and initiate a project
request. This three-day course includes lesson
reviews and workshops to reinforce course material.

This course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s
client/server based solution Participants will
gain a thorough background in the concepts of
planning and scheduling. Scheduling techniques
will be covered. This three-day course leads you
through hands-on workshops that create and track
an entire project to completion. All workshops
and instruction use the three basic elements of
project management: schedule, resource and costs.

client/server based solution. This course is designed
to give current users a more in depth look atthe
software. Many of the lessons will aid the project
office in determining how to setup calendars,
user fields, global data items, and much more!

This course provides hands-on training for Primavera’s
Web-based solution. Participants will gain a thorough
background in the concepts of resource management.
This 1 ½ day course leads you through hands-on
case studies to add a resource to the enterprise
resource pool; plan for resource needs in future
projects; staff resources on current projects;
and manage resources to ensure they are fully
utilized. Participants are also provided instruction
on using Primavera’s collaboration functionality
in the Personal Workspace.

This two-day course is specially designed for
users moving from Primavera Project Planner (P3)
to Project Manager (P5/P6). Numerous charts list
how P3 fields and functionality map to Project
Manager (P5/P6), enabling users to leverage their
existing knowledge of P3 and rapidly adapt to
new features in Project Manager (P5/P6). The course
begins with navigation, menus, and terminology
in Project Manager (P5/P6), and introduces new
ways to view layouts and run reports. The course
also details how basic tasks in the project management
life cycle are executed in Project Manager (P5/P6),
including how to create activities, assign and
analyze resources, and update the project plan.
An appendix at the back of the manual covers how
to convert projects from P3 to Project Manager
(P5/P6). (Please note that this course is designed
for existing users of P3. Those who wish to learn
Project Manager (P5/P6), but are not P3 users,
should register for Course 102.)
